MSU helps build Olympics turf in China. MSU's turfgrass scientists have been tapped to help construct and manage a portable athletic field at Beijing National Stadium for the 2008 summer Olympic games, which begin Aug. 8. Read the news release for more.

New name for Ralph Young Fund: Spartan Fund. The newly named Spartan Fund continues the tradition of excellence set by late MSU athletic director and coach Ralph Young. The single source of funding for 25 athletic programs at MSU, the fund also supports more than 800 student-athletes each year. See the Web site for more.
