Kresge Art Museum Exhibit Opens. Numerous world famous people in politics, theology, royalty, the arts and sciences posed for Canadian photographer Yousuf Karsh (1908-2002). The exhibit Yousuf Karsh Photographs runs through March 18.

January 12-21, 2007
MSU honors Martin Luther King Jr. A special report focuses on anniversary reunions, remembrances from former State News reporters, King's 1965 visit to campus and scheduled community events. For all of the details, see the special report.

January 22-28, 2007
Community Music School Open House. Founded in 1993, the Community Music School is the outreach division of the MSU College of Music. A faculty recital is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 28, followed by an open house from 3 to 5 p.m.

Exploring Evolution. From gender-bending fish to computer-generated organisms, MSU researchers are exploring evolution on all fronts – from the test tube to the field to the social impacts. See the special report for more information.
